Headshot looks for young actors.

Your headshot should always look like you, however much of the casting is done online now and this allows actors to have several looks to show casting. In the commercial industry many child actors will have 4-6 different headshot looks posted with their online casting resume and headshot profiles.

A child actor can portray several different types. What is your type? Well your headshot photographer, talent agent or talent manager should be able to help you determine this. You can also view T.V. and commercials to see what "type" you would realistically play.

Subtle wardrobe elements and expressions can create a look or show different types. Kids headshots can include Tomboy, athletic, sweet and innocent or geek looks. These are just a few of the different types that a casting director would need when casting a role for a child actor. If you book a headshot session with me I will help you determine which looks you should have and what wardrobe is recommended.

Congratulations!

Just want to congratulate and send a shout out to some vibrant young actors who are really rocking it in Hollywood this year.  Bailee Madison starring with Katie Holmes in "Don't be afraid of the dark".  11 year old Bailee Madison has shown Hollywood how capable she is and consequently she's been co-starring with several of Hollywoods top actors.  I've been privaleged to photograph Bailee many times and  I can honestly say I'm thrilled to see her winning, as she is absolutely beautiful inside and out.

Recent newcomer Ryan Potter is just 15 years old and starring in the hit Nickelodeon series "Supah Ninjas"!  Ryan brings his White Tiger skills to the screen along with his talent and fabulous smile.  You can learn more about Ryan Potter and see some of my photos with Ryan on his website @ http://www.ryanpotter.com
